The BIG GAME is coming up this weekend & you know what that means…fun commercials and goodies!
I love putting out a spread of appetizers as we crowd around the TV to watch the new ads the football game.
Along with my regular “go-to” snacks like chips and dips and buffalo wings, I like to slip in a healthier snack alternative that is so yummy no one will notice! These Buffalo Turkey Meatballs are a healthier alternative to beef and are full of good for you items.
Check out how easy these little guys are!
Easy peasy, right?
See below for the full recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- ¼ cup Panko bread crumbs
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup onions, finely minced
- ⅓ cup celery, finely minced
- ⅓ cup carrots, finely minced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- ⅓ cup Franks Hot sauce
- Naturally Fresh Lite Ranch Dressing
Preparations
- Preheat the oven to 400º. Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly coat with cooking spray. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, Panko crumbs, egg, onions, celery, carrot and garlic, salt and pepper. Using clean hands, mix until combined. Roll the mixture (⅛ cup each) into meatballs.
- Place meatballs onto baking sheet and bake until cooked through and golden, about 18-20 minutes.
- Remove meatballs from oven and place in a bowl. Add buffalo sauce and gently toss to combine. Serve immediately or reheat when ready to serve. Drizzle meatballs with Naturally Fresh Lite Ranch dressing or add on side for dipping.
- Makes 28 meatballs
The Naturally Fresh Lite Ranch Dressing just makes the meatballs all the more scrumptious!
